ANNUAL PICNIC – Saturday June 22^nd

Driftwood Pavilion – Martinak State Park

137 Deep Shore Road Denton, MD 21629

(Once you enter the park and pass the Park Information Building, stay straight on Deep Shore Road, and look for the Pavilion on the Right side of the Road)

Located in Martinak State Park, the Driftwood picnic area includes large group grills, water spigot, service road for loading and unloading (only), playground equipment and horseshoe pits.

There are 8 picnic tables (including one ADA picnic table with Handicap Accessible unpaved access) and a Portable ADA toilet available on site. 35 parking spaces available less than 150 feet from the picnic area. Additional bathroom facilities are located a short walk at the adjacent Cattail picnic area.

 

Belt Promotions begin at 12:00 Noon

Pot-Luck Picnic begins Immediately Following

There is a Sign-Up list hanging by the bulletin board. Please indicate what you are bringing (so that there aren’t too many duplicates) and how many people are with you (so that we know that we have enough of everything).

Water will be available. You are encouraged to bring any alternate non-alcoholic beverages of your choosing… BYOBeverage

Games and Fun Activities

There are plenty of Picnic Tables available, however, you may be more comfortable with your own Bag Chair and/or Blanket
