We had a GREAT Leadership Clinic on Friday evening! The more that this program evolves and grows, the prouder we become of the future Instructors and Leaders we have amongst us. We look forward to each one of them becoming someone special, making a difference in the lives of others and the world around us, just as we look forward to the growth and development of each and every student on the Eastern Shore!

“Yesterday’s facial surgery was a success! The doctor mentioned that while it was a difficult case, he is pleased with the surgery and believes she will have the best possible outcome. Elizabeth tolerated the procedure well, and her vitals have been stable.

She has been stirring more and seems to be in a lot of pain, which is understandable. Early this morning, around 3:30 am, she became quite active and focused, opening her eyes and trying to make some facial expressions at our dad. She even attempted to use her voice and smile at him. Today, she was off the ventilator for several hours and breathing on her own! She is making forward steps every single day, even though she is still mostly sedated.

It’s hard to believe it has been over a week since her accident. She continues to show us how strong and resilient she is. She has a lot of good left to do on this earth, and we thank God every single day for the gift that is Elizabeth.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers.”

• Mid-Atlantic All Female Karate Tournament Saturday September 07
  • This will be the First tournament of the Fall Season. Many of our Women and Girls have had Fun attending this competition in the past. We will begin preparing for it in August. Registration Link: http://mid-atlanticafko.com/
• Back-2-School Open House/Bring-A-Buddy Week September 9-14
