Wednesday 7/23 Technical Committee and Executive Board

5:00 PM: Technical Committee Meeting/Training/Re-Certifications

Thursday 7/24: Master’s Training/Meetings

11:00 AM: Technical Committee Meeting/Training Continued

2:00 PM:   Master’s Training and Re-Certifications

            6:00 PM:   School Owner’s Meeting

Friday 7/25: Training Seminars/Team Eliminations/Banquet

            8:00 AM: Judge/Referee Training/Testing

9:30 AM: Black Belts Training

1:30 PM: Color Belts Training

3:30 PM: Team Matches (No Spectator Fees)

8:00 PM: Awards Banquet

Saturday 7/26: World Championships Competitions and Finals

            7:00 AM: Registration Open

8:00 AM: Opening Ceremonies

8:30 AM: Masters/Black Belts Forms Competitions

9:30 AM: ALL Colored Belt Competitions

2:00 PM: Demonstrations

6:30 PM: Finals (Team, Black Belt Grand Champions, Masters Grand Champions)

8:00 PM: Closing Ceremony

Saturday – Competition Day 7/26: The above timeline is ultimately a guide, so I will outline the flow of competition below. Once the opening ceremony is finished, we will begin with:

• Masters Forms (then we will spend most of the rest of the day as Referees and Judges)
• Adult Black Belt Forms (then they will join the Masters as Judges)
• All Colored Belt Ranks, and below age 18 Black Belts, will be divided by age/gender/rank (6 and below; 7/8; 9/10; etc.) and then assigned to one of 16 Rings where they will stay for Forms, Sparring and Breaking (in that order). Weapons competition for Red belts and higher will be re-organized sometime after the Mid-Day Demonstrations.
• Adult Black belts will be organized for the remainder of their competitions as Colored belts finish, and they are relieved of duty for judging.
• Masters will be organized for the remainder of their competitions as Black belts finish, and they are relieved of duty for judging.
• Team Finals and Grand Champion Competitions will follow the completion of all other competitions.
• Grand Champion qualifications: all 1^st place winners of all Divisions of Black Belt Forms and Sparring Competitions will compete for selected Grand Champion Categories.

 

Sunday 7/27: Master’s Rank Testing/Certified Instructor Testing
