18th World Championships – Part 1 Training and Awards
August 5, 2025
ITF 18th World Championships 2025
Part 1
OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!!
Attitude and Spirit! Not only did our Choong Jae Nim talk about this multiple times over the course of the weekend (from Wednesday through Sunday), but I feel that our Team, all 29 of us students and instructors from the Eastern Shore, and those who attended to watch/cheer, displayed these traits without being asked! This makes me very proud of everyone present and a very pleased Sa Bom Nim! Our Eastern Shore Family has some Amazing Students!
Tang Soo!!!
Regardless of whether we win medals or trophies (which we did, and I will report on these in Part 2 next weekend) or just try our best with no expectations, we Always gain in Experience and Learning. At one point, during a very rare lull in the action (especially for me as a Referee) several students were gathered near me sharing their successes and trials. I asked, “What did you Learn today?” The answers were very enlightening and made me very proud of everyone’s awareness. But don’t just take my word for it, I encourage you to ask them for yourselves.
Some Highlights/Notes: All our teams performed extremely well and certainly gave the ultimate winners some concern. The Coaches and I from both Synergy and Eastern Shore are very Happy with everyone’s presentation and their Attitude throughout!
At the Banquet, some awards were presented on behalf of the International Tang Soo Do Federation. Please Congratulate:
