Tang Soo Leaders!

 

There are 2 Important Activities Happening Soon! We would like to know who is willing to help out as soon as possible. Thank You!

1. Saturday October 24: Washington College Self-Defense Seminar 3:00-4:30 PM
2. Sunday October 25: Fall Fest at Red Acres Farm 1:00-4:00 PM

 

In our immediate future, now through January, we have the following activities:

Clinic Schedule:

• November 14^th – Clinic after Easton Gup Testing

Special Activities/Tests:

• October Bring-A-Buddy and Halloween Parade/Parties
• October 24^th – Following Chestertown Gup Testing, we will be holding a Self-Defense seminar for College Student at Washington College. This will be a Great Service-Learning Hours Event! Talk to any of the SBN’s about participation.
• October 25^th – (Sunday) Fall Fest at Red Acres Farm. We will be looking to do Demos and Intro Instruction to anyone Interested (like Saturday in the Park). Also, a Service-Learning Hours Event.
• October 30^th – Each school has it’s own Halloween Party. Please Help.
• October 31^st – Chestertown Halloween Parade
• November 27 Black Friday Parent’s Day Out – Each school may host it’s own. We will be polling parents for interest level.
• December 2^nd – Easton Tiny Tigers Test at 5:15 PM
• December 4^th – Chestertown Tiny Tigers Test at 5:00 PM
• December 18^th – Easton Belt Promotions/Holiday Party at 6:00 PM
• December 19^th Chestertown Belt Promotions/Holiday Party at 12:00 Noon

 

As always, help is appreciated in Tiny Tigers and Youth classes on a regular basis, as is help during belt tests and promotions. Showing up for your own class and running warm-up does not qualify for Service-Learning credit, so please do not expect it…nor does it get you an opportunity to be named Leader of the Day/Week. Only those people who actively show up to help in classes other than the ones that they train in receive those recognitions. Thank You!

• To Earn Service-Learning Hours and Experience by Helping with Tests AND
• Keep your Journal up to date
  • Journal Entry Due by August 1^st: What does it mean to be a Leader in a Martial Arts school.
• Get your Journal Checked and Stamped by Sa Bom Nim!
